UAB Kauno Kogeneracinė Jėgainė (KKJ), a joint venture owned by the Finnish energy group Fortum and the state-owned group of energy companies Ignitis Group, is completing the construction of a waste-to-energy combined heat and power (CHP) plant in Kaunas (Lithuania).

New individual heating units will be installed in high-rise buildings of Lviv this year. Modern equipment will replace the old house systems. This will mean saving and comfortable living conditions for residents of these houses.

The newest ways to save heat and natural resources have been introduced in Lviv for more than ten years. Ukrainian enterprise reported on the experience of working with Europeans. 

To heat large cities without the use of foreign gas - the experience in modernizing energy facilities in the Baltic countries and Belarus will help to achieve this goal.
