Works in Panevėžys. 06.11.2017

In October 2017, the specialists of "ECOPOWER" LLC carried out works on replacement of thermal oil and cleaning it from moisture and volatile substances at biofuel-fired power plant of UAB "Lignoterma" in Panevėžys.

The biofuel-fired power plant manufactured by "Vyncke" consists of a drum boiler of JNO type and a  reciprocating grate installed in the furnace for wood chips burning. In addition to a water and steam circuit, the boiler is equipped with a thermal oil circuit and an extraction circuit of high temperature flue gas for the production (of mixed feeds) process needs.

Thermal oil Mobiltherm-603 used in the circuit was replaced with thermal oil Mobiltherm-605 in order to raise its operating parameters from 280 °С (Mt-603) to 300 °С (Mt-605).

The works were completed in October 2017. The boiler was put into operation for production needs of UAB "Amilina".
