A final stage of start-up and commissioning at Mažeikiai CHP. 11.09.2018.

  A final stage of start-up and commissioning on the thermomechanical equipment of the TGME-464 steam boiler after its reconstruction by installing the low NOx burners is in progress at Mažeikiai CHP. The specialists of "ECOPOWER" LLC are in charge of the start-up and commissioning works during putting the facility into operation.

The TGME-464 boiler is equipped with eight GB-V 28 gas/oil burners manufactured by Zeeco. The rated capacity of eight burners is 264 MW when burning natural gas and 241.6 MW when burning oil fuel, respectively.

The project objective is to replace the old oil burners with the new gas/oil burners to reduce the NOx emissions, as well as to upgrade the boiler unit and burner control systems to improve the safety and reliability of the boiler.
